3seams’ $10 CHALLENGE

3 seams creates opportunities for people to purchase clothing for their children while at the same time supplying a child in need with an identical piece.  Each piece of clothing is made in sets of two.  One piece goes home with the buyer and one is donated by 3 seams to an organization that ensures a child in need will receive it!  Not only does a child somewhere around the world receive a much needed item, but the child here in America knows that there is a child somewhere else in the world wearing the exact same dress… or pants… or shirt….

Join the ‘3seams’ community as we reach out to those in Haiti! Here’s how!!

Goal: 1000 people donate $10 which in turn raises $10,000.00!!!

Result: These funds will not only take care of a year’s worth of quarterly travel to support the ‘3seams’ seamstress program in Haiti, but it will also build THREE families in Haiti a NEW HOME! $1600 can build a 2 room home for a family that is currently, most likely huddled into a tattered tent!

Deadline: SEPTEMBER 15th … We have 3 weeks!
Ready, Set, Let’s do it!!

How to donate??
We are raising these funds through our partnering organization in Haiti,
The Apparent Project.
Go to www.apparentproject.org Here you will be able to quickly donate through their online system!
$10 quick and easy! $10 that will change lives!
Be sure to include a notation with your donation that says,

postcard inn.

Ashah and I are at St Pete Beach, FL to shoot Josh & Jill’s wedding later today!  We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather yesterday to lay on the beach and by the pool, we are praying that today is the same!  Rain Rain please stay away!!! The wedding will be at the Don Cesar Beach Resort just down the street from the hotel we are staying in, the Postcard Inn.  This place has so much inspiration for photographers!  It is like staying at Urban Outfitters! haha.  I definitely want to come back here for a longer vacation one day!

In St. Petersburg, FL!

I’m in St Petersburg, FL this weekend for Courtney & Micah’s wedding tomorrow!  Our flight was realllllly early Friday morning ( special thanks for my super roommate who got up early to take us! ) but the advantage was this amazing view!  I had to grab my Canon Point n shoot and get a shots of it!!  Erin Melissa is here with me shooting this weekend, we are headed out to dinner and then to a Martina McBride concert that is a couple of blocks away from our hotel!  We came down a day early to spend the day at the beach and I’m so glad we did!!  I always go to the beach several times a year to shoot weddings but I never take an extra day to relax, but this time I did!!    I think I need to start doing this more often!!

Road Trip!

I’m in the middle of a whirlwind of traveling!!  I am in Atlanta house hopping until I leave again for Jekyll Island this weekend for a wedding!  For the last 10 days I’ve been traveling across 13 states and Canada with a group from Peachtree City, GA.  I went along as a chaperone and the photographer! We left Atlanta on Friday, June 17 and drove up to Ohio.  Visited Cleveland and Lake Erie, Cedar Point Amusement Park, and went to a Cleveland Indians Baseball game!

The first thing we did when we arrived in NYC is go see The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway!  We had the BEST seats and got a backstage tour after the show and met a few of the cast members!!  This was another favorite part of the trip for me!!!

me & briley

I know I never put pictures of myself on here so I am trying to get better at it and I took a new picture of me and little Briley greenway so I wanted to share!  I love the first one of her with my phone!  Once while her mom and I were shopping I pulled up 101 Dalmatians on youtube and she is obsessed with my phone ever since! haha.

Back in August I had the privilege of being the featured photographer for lake martin magazine.  They added a few snapshots I took while at the lake house over the summer.  I can’t wait to go back again!
